Hi guys, I’m new here.
Just wanted to say that I love #! – Keep up the great work!
I’m especially interested in the light edition as I often fit up cheap / free old laptops for friends / relations / deserving people and chruchbang is ideal to give something sleek and quick, but with the support and repository depth of ubuntu behind it!

My only negative comment at this point is about the Kazehakase browser. Its nice, light and everything, but without adblock plus or an equivalent large areas of the web are almost unusable. On many sites the number of javascript and flash adds pegs the processor on my old machines and literally make the browser unusable.
I know there are other approaches, like a hosts file, but that’s not really something i can hand over to less technical people.

With all the recent changes in various scripts and what-not, why not put out an Release Candidate 2 of CB “Lite”….just in time for Christmas.

@Andrew Brown: Thank you for the comment. The tint and trayer combination have been included in the release candidate as a trial. So far they have been fairly well received. Regarding lxappearance and gtk-chtheme, they both offer similar features but gtk-chtheme does not depend on lxsession. More of LXDE maybe included in future releases. Finally, Leafpad is a nifty little editor, but it lacks many of the features available within gedit. For the time being, Leafpad will remain as the default editor for the “Lite” edition and gedit will remain the default editor for the standard edition. Why not keep lxpanel? it doesn’t have many dependencies and wouldn’t tint and trayer combined use more ram? Why not use lxappearance instead of gtk-chtheme? And i personally think leafpad should have been included to begin with and not gedit. however, i love this distro and i think you’re doing a great job. keep it up!
