Basically, I would like the applets to behave in a similar fashion to how launcher applets work on some panels, such as the Xfce and GNOME panels; therefore, I would like to be able to assign a command and icon of my preference. So, before I go write my own code for this, I was wondering, does anyone know if something like this exists already?</p><p>Many thanks. :)</p>]]></summary>

The live session works, but the installer wants to load some CD drivers on my EeePC and then errors out saying it can&#039;t load stuff from the USB drive. 			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Statler intalled in less time than sidux moros on my turion TL60 notebook.<br />The whole process 10 minutes.&nbsp; The install proper took less than 5 minutes.<br />The text installer was quite adequate for doing a manual partitioning installing \ to a 10G partition and \home to a separate partition.</p><p>2g of texlive and kde packages installed in under 30 minutes.</p><p>Kudos to #!</p>]]></summary>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;m installing from a USB, as told by <a href="http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/statler_usb_installation">http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/statler &#133; stallation</a></p><p>I didn&#039;t get any question &quot;Load CD-ROM drivers from removable media?&quot;, so I needed to go to the shell in the Debian installation program and manually mount /dev/sdX to /cdrom:<br /><em>mount /dev/sdX /cdrom</em></p><br /><p>Everything works well until the step &quot;Install the system&quot; after partitioning the hard-discs.</p><p>It tells me it failed and I should redo the step, I don&#039;t get any information of what the actual problem is.</p><p>There is no difference between choosing normal or live install.</p><p>Can this be some sort of a problem because I manually mounted /dev/sdX on /cdrom?</p><br /><p>PS.<br />I noticed ipw2200-bss.fw was required to get the network work on my laptop. So I needed to download this file on an USB and use it from there. This should be added to the distro.<br />DS.</p>]]></summary>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>For those of us still using #! 9.04.1, I&#039;m sure some of you have noticed that CPU usage spikes every few seconds, even with the system idling.&nbsp; This is apparently a known issue at the Ubuntu forums, and it has a simple solution:&nbsp; downgrade HAL and lock it.&nbsp; This is most easily done in Synaptic.&nbsp; (&quot;Force Version&quot; and &quot;Lock Version&quot; are both in the Package menu.)</p><p>This might coax a few more minutes out of our batteries and let the CPU run a little cooler.</p>]]></summary>
