Topic: how to update liquorix kernel

hello im curious as how i will upgrade the liquorix kernel in the future? I chose the option to install it
when i first booted crunchbang via the script. my version is 2.6.36-2.dmz.5-liquorix-amd64 is this the
newest? and how does it get upgraded if it isnt. I have a feeling it will auto update when i do apt-get upgrade? any light on this would be great btw here is my sources:

Re: how to update liquorix kernel

My understanding is that corenominal will maintain liquorix kernel updates in the CrunchBang repos.

Re: how to update liquorix kernel

If you want to do it yourself, add the Liquorix repository to your sources.list file:

#Liquorix Repo
deb http://liquorix.net/debian sid main

And then:

I did it this way without problems. You do end up with another entry in your grub though, which is probaby a good idea if it all goes wrong, you can easily choose the older kernel at boot.

Mind you, i've also upgraded my whole statler install to sid from squeeze, so be careful.

I had no problems installing the kernels from that repo in squeeze either and run "2.6.37-2.dmz.1-liquorix-686" at the moment. All later kernels (from 2.dmz.2 up to 4.dmz.1, which is the lastest atm) increased bootimes, so i stuck with 2.dmz.1.
