But Steve Jobs said Flash was dead. During the iPad announcement last year.

^ HTML5's Canvas combined with JavaScript has Flash sweating a bit, though <evil laugh>
HTML 5 is really creating an easier platform to deliver dynamic content on that's for sure, but as long as IE 8 rules the roost in browser's, it will never take off
so flash will continue to survive.
