Topic: Hi everyone!
I just installed #! on my Dell mini 10 after hunting for a good distro to use on it. I started off with the default Dell Ubuntu and went to 9.04 after finding .debs for the GMA500 drivers. Those broke after a kernel update and so the mini sat unused until I gave Jolicloud a shot on it but I got bored with it and went hunting for GMA500 drivers for Ubuntu 9.10 and found a script that would do all the work for me. So I went to Ubuntu 9.10 and then to Xubuntu to try to get a lighter distro and decided to give #! a shot for an even lighter install.
So now here I am running it and enjoying it quite a bit. I've spent the last few hours tweaking stuff in various configs (something I thought I'd never do.) I even upgraded to Karmic without any problems.
I think I first saw #! on Ars Technica and found it again a little while later looking for conky configs.
So hello everyone and I hope to contribute a little to the forums.
Here is a screenshot (I hadn't settled on my tint2 config yet and hadn't adjusted fonts.config yet):
Sorry for the long post. Just happy to find a distro that doesn't run slow and eat up RAM on my mini.
