Topic: Thank you Crunchbang!!!
Hello Everyone 
My name is Minna and I am very grateful to Crunchbang!
About a month ago I bought a new HP Probook 4510s laptop.
Not having much experience with Linux, I had no idea that at times you may have problems installing certain linux distros in certain hardware
My first effort was to try and install Ubuntu, as I had been using Ubuntu with my older laptop for the last 3 years. But it was impossible to install. Installation would stop right in the middle of everything and the computer would go to sleep mode.
During this last month I also tried Fedora, Mint, Sabayon, Mandriva, Xubuntu, Puppy, Gentoo, ArchLinux, ActiveX, Tiny Core in the same way and they just wouldn't install !!!!
I gathered information from many linux forums trying to solve this problem and nothing worked.
Finally, I managed to install and run OPEN SUSE -with still lots of problems, i.e. I had to boot at least twice everytime for the computer to start-, but one of my favorite games, Second Life, just wouldnt run 
So, I kept trying different distros, until I bumped upon this really strange name: Crunchbang...
And I thought, ok, I will try it, you never know.
So I downloaded it and burnt it and shut down the computer and five minutes later, after the most flawless and uniterrupted installation procedure (during which I completely erased Suse because i was fed up a bit), I started a laptop where everything JUST WORKED!!!! In five minutes, EVERYTHING WORKED including Second Life. And worked Fast!!!!!
After an entire month of efforts, it was a piece of cake for Crunchbang 
Dear friends, I am sorry to have written so much, but this is a great opportunity to say a very big THANK YOU CRUNCHBANG!!!
Please, give this distro a try if you haven't yet (especially if you are having problems using Linux on HP Probook 4510s)
You will love it!!
P.S. When I first came upon this black desktop, I thought that for yet one more time something had gone terribly wrong with the installation. But then I right-clicked, THANK GOD!!!!!!!!:D
