I think that's a feature of KDE?
its compiz, with window previews, i don't know if you would need a compatible panel aswell.
Trying a few things on my test machine. Will let you know how it goes.
Oh dear..everything looked like it was going well, rebooted and now it will not except my user password? Strange....help anyone?:(

what changes did you make ?
The window previews are a default feature of KDE 4.4. They should work with a base install of KDE 4.4 ![]()
Yeah, Crunchbang is all about stripped down functionality and customizability, but not so much flash. Personally, I'd rather have the speed of openbox than the features of KDE. But, if that's you're thing you'll have to go with KDE.
