Topic: Statler intalls in under six minutes (amd64 tl60 notebook)

Statler intalled in less time than sidux moros on my turion TL60 notebook.
The whole process 10 minutes.  The install proper took less than 5 minutes.
The text installer was quite adequate for doing a manual partitioning installing \ to a 10G partition and \home to a separate partition.

2g of texlive and kde packages installed in under 30 minutes.

That is pretty quick! If nothing else, at least the CrunchBang images provide a way to get a working Debian Squeeze system installed quickly. smile

I haven't had the chance to install Statler yet, but I have run the LiveCD and I can't believe it!

It's faster than CrunchBang 9.04 running on my harddrive!

I can't wait for beta, that's when it gets fun!

I ran a clock and it was an honest less than 5 minutes for the portion o the install that does not require my input.
