Topic: Statler system specs?

can't wait to download Statler Alpha tomorrow. i read many people here are praising its responsiveness & that t even might bea #! 9.04 – but are there any system specs or minimal requirements in RAM and CPU for the new release?

Philip hasn't posted official system requirements for #! before, so Statler probably doesn't have any either.

Works well on my Atom with 2GB of RAM (system at idle uses 88MB of RAM) - and full 9.04 ubuntu works on my Pentium III 660 MHz with 300-something MB of RAM - As for ABSOLUTE minimum, idk, just hopes this gives you an idea smile

I think you need 64MB for LiveCD, and 30 something for text install. So as long as your over that, you can give it a shot. I mean, you might be using your paging file constantly, but it is possible.
