Video thumbnails are working for me now.
They didnt work for me,,I install ffmpegthumbnailer and it works now.
After the install it didnt seem to work until i restarted my computer.
Even then it was slow to load,,,But rite now its working good.
Interesting, should 'ffmpegthumbnailer' be added by default?

Its not all that hard to install,,I guess its up to you.
I had issues with it in 9.04 were it would double load and id have to kill it.
Then when id restart thunar it would be fine for awhile.
But on Statler it just seems to work.
If you want thunar to act more like Nautilus were you get the screencap thumbnails,,Then id say yes add it.

How does it effect speed of loading big directories?
I keep all my movies and video in one folder, i could see this getting sloooow. I know nautilus was at one point. But that was on Ubuntu, im not sure how it'd behave with #! and Thunar

I tend to keep movies in folders so its pretty quick.
But the few files i have with 20 or so vids in it loads in a fair amount of time,,What ive noticed is once its loaded,,Every time you click back in it remembers it and it loads real fast,,Its just the initial loading that can take time.
Plus i tend to keep all my movies on an external drive,,Im sure this has something to do with this.
File on my harddrive load alot quicker.
I think you should try it out and give a review of what you think,,Im curious to what you think of it.
