Topic: Only 2 Desktops....

Hey there,
maybe you could help me.
I have in my rc.xml 5 Desktops, but i can only use 2 of them.
You see in the screenshot, that thay where correctly written in the rc.xml, and obconf also show them in the dialog, but with the middle-click-menu i see only two.
I already rebootet, and tried to write them directly to the rc.xml, do it wih obconf, but it dosent work.

Maybe someone could help me?

What if you click Add New Desktop (Neuen Desktop hinzufugen) in the middle-click menu?

Hey,

im sorry that i forgot this...

It adds the Desktop, (that i have 3), but after a reboot i only have 2 again.

Use obconf to change the number of desktops back to 1 and close. Then go to Openbox menu > Preferences > Openbox Config > Reconfigure.

Now reopen Obconf and change the number of desktops back to 5 (or whatever number you want) and run the Reconfigure command again.

So... if anyone is interested, here ist the solution:
put this to you /~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh

 xprop -root -remove _NET_NUMBER_OF_DESKTOPS -remove _NET_DESKTOP_NAMES -remove _NET_CURRENT_DESKTOP &

Maybe someone need this wink
