Topic: intel gma 4500mhd

does that card have drivers installed by default?
because my cousin installed ubuntu on a system with that card and it acted rather strange, every once in a while the screen would bring up a black line for like a fraction of a second and then go back to normal
does anyone else experience weird behaviour under using the gma?

What version of ubuntu is he using? I had this problem with crunchbang 9.04. What i did is to install updated drivers from ppa. Take a look at this page https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+a … x-updates/
