Works like a charm, thank you. Only 3% usage in powersave while idle. Those 3% are from conky and it's monitoring. Maybe I'll turn that off as well, since I don't really need such a thing.
And I must say, those keyboard shortcuts for web browser, terminal and such are extremely useful, especially when there's no real space for a start menu or something similar.

I just installed cruncheee on my EEE 701 and it works nice and I must say that I really like the UI, because it fits nicely onto the tiny screen. Good work here. It boots quite quick as well.
But there's one big issue: Xorg is consuming 20% of CPU time when the EEE is on high performance mode and up to 50% of CPU time when in powersave, when just sitting and showing the desktop/background. That just can't be right, since this way everything I do with my EEE seems choppy.
Even when sitting at a terminal and watching CPU usage with "top" Xorg uses 12% in high performance and 25% in powersave mode.
Then there's a process named "conky" which uses 3% of CPU time constantly.
