Perhaps you need to be root.
Try starting it with gksudo.

These wallpapers are really cool.
Going to use one of then on my laptop.. cant decide witch one thou... sad

My guess is that its supposed to be at least linux related and more information than personal opinions.

Lots of pros and cons regarding 64bit, the main thing is the ability to correctly use 64bit ints/floats in code, while it doesn't sound massive you'll see a slight speed improvement on some of the newer processors.

Also, PAE, the method of accessing 3.5GB on 32bit  is a hack at best, with 64bit you can address up to 2Tb of RAM (I think...)

What would be the biggest difference between 32 and 64. Cus I have a 32bit machine and I still use #! smile
