Copied the image to usb using the recommended way. It boots to the grub screen...choosing the live option, but no respond, nothing happens.Choosing the install option..it direct me to the installation page, but I didn't risk it to install as I have no extra space on HD.

+1 for having cpufrequtils by default. The first thing I do after a fresh statler install is installing cpufrequtils, otherwise my laptop fans will be spinning like hell all day.

For the love of god, does the new thunar support tabbed window option?????

I also been experiencing this problem on my old laptop(hp compaq nx7000). installing ntpdate solves the problem

The problem is solved. It should be 3 modules loaded, not two. one is missing ( the 8139cp module). Thanks a lot Awebb for your response and help.

The lspci was from the liquorix kernel. I didn't try loading modules cos it says moldules are loaded

Happy New Year Crunchbangers

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 20)

My wired connection is not working after installing the liquorix kernel, but wireless is fine. After rebooting to crunchbang kernel, wired and wireless are fine.  Did anyone had the same problem?
