Extremely frequently-asked question at: forums.debian.net

The answer depends on a) who you ask; and b) whether you're using Stable or Testing/Unstable.

Thanx Snowpine - I will  have a look at the debian forum as well!

By the way I am using #! with stable

I used aptitude for a while ... recently I reinstalled, and now I am using apt-get again.
In fact I like both.

Now my question:
Some years ago - if I remember well, it was not recommended to
mix aptitude and apt-get ...
Does anybody know if that is still the case and why exactly?

With tint2, I can't seem to change the system tray icons straight from the system tray. Would the easiest way to change the icons be to replace the source images? If so, where can I find them? Any other suggestions would also be appreciated!

Icons are in
/usr/share/icons/

... and I change them with  lxappearance  ... symbol

... hope thats what you are searching for.

p.s.
to see the change in tint2 do

killall tint2
... and start tint2 again ... and you should see the change

My Serbian friends call the pot džezva [jazz-whah]. Maybe it's similar in Turkish.
Anyways, this kind of coffee is the best. You can call it Turkish coffee, Greek coffee (ellinikos kafes) or simply "home-made coffee" (domača kafa) in southern Slavic languages. I often prepare it for myself at home with a tiny bit of cane sugar and some cinnamon. But it's also good with orange or lemon peel! Try it out once!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love those non-technical Windows users. They get their comp infected with a crapload of malware and viruses, and then consider upgrading to the latest and greatest version of windows, hoping it'll be more secure... only problem is, their comp is too underpowered for the latest. So they go waste their money on a new system, while I get another free computer big_smile .... again

I like to prepare turkish mokka-like coffee
in big cups (200 ml of water) and add some spices to it ....

so here is my recipe (per cup) :

2.5 Tsp. of turkish mokka
2    Tsp. Agave-Sirup (prefer the taste to shugar)
a pinch of salt
a pinch of hot madras curry
a pinch of caraway

cook it in a traditional turkish coffee-cup
... and stir it a lot - wait until the coffee comes up before serving

p.s.

it's not the coffee that makes the problem ...
it's the milk we add!
