Claws Mail
version 3.7.6
OS - #! Statler 2 (I had similar problem in 9.04 btw)
And the message is 4 lines, 29 words, 155 characters with spaces. So it broke the message into 2 parts as you can see on the screenshot. I tried googling that problem, but don't even know what the keywords would be :)

I've got an issue with Claws Mail client. After I replied to an e-mail it shows the history of e-mail in a dropdown style in the main folder browser. However it brakes long messages into short bits and thus creates 5-10 entities. Here are the screenshots:

Any tips about how can i get rid of that? :)

during compiling I also get errors like

warning: format ‘%04lx’ expects type ‘long unsigned int’, but argument 2 has type ‘uint32_t’

And that's on all the ADM plugins

Nope, fixed broken packages didn't work. I'm using #! 9.04 distro, so the latest avidemux in main repo was 2.5.1 and it's got a bug when it won't burn ASS subtitles if they more than smth like 15.000 symbols, that's why I compiled 2.5.2.

All dependencies seem to be alright. Ok, then another question: How do I delete compiled avidemux with cmake? I tried cmake uninstall and sudo make uninstall, didn't work. So if I can remove it and start from the begining.

Hello, I've upgraded avidemux to the newest version recently. used it once to convert videos for my psp. However after the next start it couldn't see any plugins installed at all. I've built it from svn once again with the bootStrap script and after that one more time with cmake. But it didn't fix the problem.
Currently i have getdeb repo installed, and I also installed avidemux 2.5.2 from there. Still same problem. reinstalling avidemux-plugins doesn't work either. What am i missing?

Thanks!

Okay, for those who will ever have the same problem.
It seems like I found the solution.

Hello gentlemen,

I've had an issue long time ago, but only decided to post it now.
I've got the following messages when I'm trying to start volwheel or any wine application (may be something else actualy). It happens only when ram usage is 50%~70% randomly. I see that it says there is a lack of memory, bet even after I shut down all the applications that are using ram a lot, it won't let me launch those two applications. I tried restarting the alsa deamon as well, but no result.

Here is the screenshot of running aps and terminal output when launching aps:

http://img686.imageshack.us/img686/7149/2009121812610969641280x.th.png

And dmesg says:
http://crunchbanglinux.org/pastebin/437

I would really appreciate any help about this question wink

I'm pretty sure you can disable loading home page right after opening a new tab.

Hello, didn't want to post this in Help & Support, so i guess this it the best place smile

If anyone knows python enough to help me, i'll be happy.
The script ment to send date to file hosting called rghost.ru. So far what i've done: http://crunchbanglinux.org/pastebin/346

Please give me some tips on that, thanks in advance smile

Guyz,

I need a feature to remember keyboard layouts for different windows. As i have 2 layouts, it's annoying to switch them every second. I remember having such a thing in hardy heron.

Any ideas? smile

I think it should be ejected as a device. Something like

sudo umount /media/cdrom0

Mine wont eject untill i will right click on the cd-rom icon and select "Eject Volume"

Keke, found it. It's caleled dot

cp laucher.exe ./backup

Just a quick question, is there a variable for terminator that could replace the current directory?
For example
i'm in
~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ files/Game/launcher.exe
And i want to copy launcher.exe to the subfolder called backup

cp laucher.exe ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ files/Game/backup

So when i'm working with big lines, it's a bit too long to type the full destination. May be there is something like:

cp launcher.exe %c/backup

Thank you!

I can suggest sonata with MPD.
I installed it recently and it's got all things i was looking for. Nice compact player.

Thank you very much smile

It says permission denied, because mpd configured for /var/lib/mpd directory.
I guess it's possible to reconfigure for something like ~/.mpd

One more little question:
How do i make mpd to auto start?

Adding line to autostart.sh

sudo /etc/init.d/mpd start

Require to enter root password everytime. How to avoid it?

Solved by installing libfaad0-dev package and following this steps:

It seems to be already installed. I run ldconfig.
It still returns a error while installing mpd...

Still getting error while installing:

Setting up mpd (0.14.2-3ubuntu2) ...
 * Starting Music Player Daemon mpd * creating /var/lib/mpd/tag_cache...

subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127

ldconfig deferred processing now taking place

Yes anon, I read those things. But i don't have the mpd installed, because it's failing during the installation...:(

Edit: I tried to compile it from the source code, but it says that "glib-2.6" could not be found. And i could not find it in repos.

Hello guys, i'm having some troubles configuring sonata music player and linking it to MPD.

I'v installed sonata with all dependancies. But i can't install "mpd" package.
Here's what it says (sorry for a lot of text):

The package "python-mpd" comes with sonata, but i don't know how to configure it...
When i'm starting sonata with connection to localhost, port 6600. The output is:

/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/sonata/main.py:78: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead
import gtk, pango, threading, time, ui, img, tray, md5
[Errno 111] Connection refused

Please, help me solving this thing. Because i don't understand how it should work. smile
Cheers.

I like it. I think I will try to make a theme, if you describe it more detailed later.
Good aplication, thank you.

I guess previews should be a litle bit bigger, at least 800x600. Or 1024x768 in jpeg smile

Try removing some applications that you would not use.
By doing:

sudo apt-get purge "application_name"

But I don't think you will get enough space by doing that. You should install it on bigger partition.
