nice shot , thanks rfquerin smile

if you want to exchange data between Linux & Mac, you should create a vfat partition 'cause Mac can't read ext3 out-of-the-box.
and after reinstalling Mac, you can enable read/write by changing your linux user-id to match with your mac-user-id (501 in my case), so you can keep journalization feature.
after, you just put an entry in your fstab just like that :

# Mac OSX
/dev/sda2 /media/macbookhd hfsplus rw,force,user,auto 0 0

when /dev/sda2 is your mac device (not efi... mac), and /media/macbookhd your mountpoint.
if you need more info about id-changing, just ask smile

hi, i'm running on macbook - dualboot too smile
if there is nothing important on your external disk, you can format it and after backup your leopard-files into.
if there are data that you don't want to be delete, you can resize ext-dd-hfs+ partition with gparted (i made it before) and create a ext3 or vfat for your music files.
hope it helps

hey guys, i think we gonna crunch every light distro we can....  corenominal open the way to a "crunchy open world" big_smile
about "crunchy-like-distro", i made my crunch-3D for fun and it's fun to play with linux distro with #! features wink

ps: you can take a look to this page for inspiration: this is a doc about a script to build openbox distro from ubuntu 8.10 or debian 5.0 minimal . it's in french but easy to understand. (not my work)
if you really need, i can translate it for you (at your own risks big_smile ).

thanks for sharing sheri smile

they talk about #! 8.04 ........... but #! is growing so fast that is difficult to make a precise review tongue

^^i'm actually run my 'fusion-box': a compiz-standalone (without gnome) config with all #!features (middle-click menu on desktop with 'compiz-deskmenu', and keybinding openbox-style) and apps.
all works fine and it's very light & eye-candy (as fast as legal-#!)
so, with rfquerin wall, tint, trayer &fbpanel-menu & fbpanel-launchers:

hi Wild_Duck (i like your nickname smile )

I do understand how to install it (started with Breezy)

but did you check the MD5 sum ?
maybe it's just a burning error?  i never had issue with #! installer (the same as ubuntu) so maybe a disk error ?? hmm
oh......... and welcome on the forum smile
