I found that wallpaper too, very nice. I haven't found a good setup to go with it yet, yours looks good smile

Is this ncmpcpp?
If yes:
Could you post your config, please? I really like the colors smile

And a little question to everyone:

Is it possible ncmpcpp (and other terminal apps) takes the colors defined in .Xdefaults?

Thank You
It's cplay, the easiest, most no-nonsense cli music player around, and it works with your default base console colours or Xdefaults... main reason I use it is because I often change the look of my desktop, and it's just so much easier getting cplay to adopt the tone of my wallpaper or themes.  It's also equal in terms of sound quality and easier to navigate compared to MoC/Mpd based players., though it's probably not as extensive in terms of some other features (which I never use, so I wouldn't know what they are)
I'm not that experienced with Mpd/ncmpcpp (prefer MoC for my music server) but I don't think you can get it to work with your .Xdefaults colorscheme (I could be wrong, though).
Hope this helps. smile

Yes, thank you very much :-)

Is there a way to let ncmpcpp or mpd itself order tracks by their tracknumber?
My songs show like this at the moment, when looking into any album:

05 - name - trackname
08 - name - trackname
01 - name - trackname
...

What i want:

01 - name - trackname
02 - name - trackname
...

The tracks don't have the tracknumber in their title, but in their id3-tags.
Any help?

*edit* forgot to mention: Tracks are ordered alphabetically right now.

Not really. Battery is better.I think, this is because of the new chipset pulling less energy.
The Keyboard is very nice - after a little bit of tweaking.
But if you don't need to buy a new one, i'd say, you shoul stick with that NC10.

Hey there,

my name is regular... and i am a distro-hopper

*waits for hello regular answers*

So, this is my story.
Started a while back with Ubuntu on my Samsung NC10 netbook. Worked quite well for a while, but after... let's say 5-6 months, i felt, that i should try something else.
Since then i tried Xubuntu 9.04, 910, Kubuntu 9.10, Debian Gnome, KDE, Openbox, Linux Mint 6 and 7, Fedora 11, 12, Sabayon, #!, arch linux and some others i forgott.
Arch Linux was awesome. But now, i've got a new netbook (Asus 1005PE) with this new N450 thing. So i went on distro-hopping again.
At the moment, I'm thinking about arch linux again - it was just too good. Hope, the new netbook will run well with it.

Just a guess:
If you own a 1005P or 1005PE then you should do a BIOS-update to the newest version.

Hi everyone!

Not sure if i am right here, if not, just blame me and send me to the right section wink

I'm quite new to #! and Linux in general and searching for a little note-taking tool.
It should only be a little post-it anchored to the desktop, like the one you find in KDE and
Windows 7.
Tomboy works for the moment, but i like to have something that looks a little better on the
desktop smile

Would be nice if someone could help me.

Have a nice day!

Hi everyone!

Using #! a little less than a week now and tweeking all the time.
At the moment it's more or like copy & paste, just starting to add self-made scripts and all.

This is how it looks at the moment:
