Topic: cant see flash drive [solved]
hi
I put a thumb drive in usb port,but crunch does not see it. I searched all my files to no avail. where could it be?

Run lsusb in a terminal and see if the USB device shows up there.
yes it does show...does that mean I should mount it?

no wait mine is a 256mB flash drive....

If you run "sudo fdisk -l" it will show your partitions. So just mount the one for your USB drive.
