Topic: Hi, new to #!, need help with conky

Hello there, I've recently taken the jump from straight ubuntu to #! in hopes of broadening my linux understanding and leaning more about what I can do to build a custom interface for my computer. I liked the live boot of #! so I reformatted and installed it only to find the conky file with all the default shortcut keys was not displayed. My knowledge of conky is minimal and would be very happy if someone could direct me to the set up used for the live boot so that I may have a quick reference while I'm still learning.

I would also like very much to be pointed to any good conky resources

Does the ~/.conkyrc file exist? Try killing conky then re-running it:

killall conky
conky

Thanks, killing it and restarting it from terminal got it going right. I'll play with it later as i really like the non nonsense and minimal look of it.
