Topic: How I fixed USB wifi dongle and Virtualbox not working after update.

Yesterday I updated Crunchbang and my USB wifi dongle stopped working. Also Virtualbox wasn't working, I received this error:

 supdrvGipCreate: failed to allocate the GIP page. rc=-8

I was really mad.
I read many people are having trouble with this problems and  I couldn't find how to fix this.

What I did was installing liquorix kernel, now everything is working again. Hope it helps someone.

It isn't the famous problem with network manager beeing uninstalled?

No this is another, after you update to the latest kernel in Squeeze VirtualBox stops working. Here is the bug report I think: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=599054

Everything was working great till I updated hmm
