Topic: how to install linux-headers-generic

How can I install linux-headers-generic in Statler. It's not in the repos. Do I really need to add an Ubuntu repo for it?

If so can someone point me to the Launchpad page with the ppa on it?
uname -a    =    2.6.35-5-686

I've spent a ton of time searching.  My main goal is to install Virtualbox additions but I need this for that.

Re: how to install linux-headers-generic

Worked!

Re: how to install linux-headers-generic

can I get rid of linux-headers-2.6.36-2.dmz.5-liquorix-686 and linux-headers-2.6-liquorix-686 without any problems now?

Were these the default at installation?
When I boot from this kernel I cant change resolution to higher than 1024.

Re: how to install linux-headers-generic

@winchendonsprings - did you install the liquorix kernel? If you don't want it, uninstall it.

Re: how to install linux-headers-generic

haha I can't remember if I installed it the other when I was trying to install the right header that was recommended here.

It wasn't installed at the initial install? By default?

Re: how to install linux-headers-generic

The liquorix kernel is not installed by default but cb-welcome (the post-installation script) does give you the option of installing it.
