It can be sort of hypnotic. I think a disk defragger that looks like Tetris could be neat (the idea thefted from something Val_B mentioned a while back).

Damn!!! I did that ... there was nothing else to do, couldn't use windows (or DOS) when that was happening. Same as backing up the OS ... go to bed!

why describe when you can watch!
i didn't have the standard windows defragmenter installed so i used a freeware one
almost 10 minutes of hot defrag action!

Either watching a disk being defragmented is more popular than I thought or he/she was very bored.
I've watched my disks defrag before....lately I just spend all day playing around in packet tracer and wireshark if I don't have any homework to do.

That drive is in serious trouble, almost NO free space at all!
This thread makes me feel very unnerdy person.
If it makes you feel better, I'm sure all your conky setups do qualify you as more nerdy than many Windows users
