spent the rest of the not sleeping days playing with my thinkpad/ideapad.

seems a bios update stopped the
"unsupported thinkpad deteced" and thinkpad acpi actually was loaded in f14 with it.

But i have had major graphics glitches up until last night and i had gotten a new ubuntu user issue with 10.10 extended dvd and took the plunge. people, jesus, freesoftware people, i am now torn between my idea of purity and what i now have in complete functionality. and the newer gnome is beautiful.

i dont know what to do i feel like im cheeting on my wife or something along those lines please someone slap me into reality. is ubuntu 10.10 actually good? I mean there are actually times where i feel like im using linux still what have they changed??

my avatar is going to stay for a while in sort of a mourning, self assessment, amends type phase but you guys are the best.
