It's as you see it posted in post #16.  Tonight when I have an internet connection, I will get scrot from the repos.  May be the easiest way to go.  wink

I just copied your script from post #16 and tried it - it worked.

Check with 

which screenshot.sh

if the right script is executed. The error in post #24 indicates, that there is something wrong in line 1 and 3. You could also try 

bash -vx screenshot.sh

to see what happens in the script.

I just went ahead and got scrot from the repos, so taking screenshots is now fixed. smile
Thanks for the advice on that. Really enjoying OpenBox a lot on both #! As well as Arch. wink
