Skipped ahead to 5... ballad of fallen angels is where it's at.  Reminds of GITS so much.

Re: #! Anime List

Give this show a try, although the description might mislead you into thinking it is a boring anime when it is the complete opposite.  Plenty of character development, drama, comedy and action.

Re: #! Anime List

You guys got some HUGE lists! XD I've only got 5 animes in my fave anime list, probably already mentioned which 5, and 6 mangas in my fave manga list, may have mentioned which mangas are listed, may not have.

Re: #! Anime List

My favourites:

- Toradora
- Hetalia Axis Powers
- Nogizaka Haruka No Himitsu
- Zatch Bell
- Gakkō no Kaidan
- Zatch Bell
- Full Metal Alchemist
- Get Backers

Re: #! Anime List

Well I figured I might as well do my personal favorite list.

Favorites (In no order, mind you)
Clannad
Clannad After Story
GITS: SAC & 2nd GIG
G Gundam
Rurouni Kenshin
Zoids New Century Zero
Zoids Chaotic Century
Wolf's Rain
Paranoia Agent
Bleach (The anime is pretty bad compared to the manga, but it's hilariously bad in English)
Full Metal Alchemist & Brotherhood
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan
Bokurano (If you never seen this, definitely check it out)
DBZ (Never forget the classics)
Yu-Gi-Oh! Original series. (Watching from Duelist Kingdom to the Pharaoh regaining his memories and finding out his name was pretty intense. Also funny to compare the game-breaking rules they make up on the spot to the real rules)
(Easily another five to ten that I can't remember)

Top 3 Favorites
Yu Yu Hakusho
Cowboy Bebop

My Number 1: Shin Seiki Evangelion/Neon Genesis Evangelion

I've seen the entire series over 30ish times. I've seen Death and Rebirth (No reason to really watch this over and over) about five times. End of Evangelion around 15 times. Seen Rebuild 1.0/1.11 and Rebuild 2.0/2.22 so far only two a piece. (I actually love the English dub for Evangelion, the voices actually fit)

I'm kind of ticked that 3.0 and 4.0 aren't being shown side-by-side anymore, but 3.0 comes out near the end of this year. I have some crazy crockpot theories about 3.0 from the trailer if you care to hear sometime. I used to own quite a few Evangelion Merch, unfortunately hard times can force somebody to sell things they love. Restarted my merch collection, ran out of money when I saw a plush Pen-Pen though and they were out of stock on the Rei body pillow.

I could go on and on about Evangelion, but I'd rather not bore everyone

Rin: I won’t say ‘See you tomorrow’ because that would be like predicting the future, and I’m pretty sure I can’t do that.

Re: #! Anime List

@binaural
haha, you listed Zatch Bell twice.

@psyduck
I would like to remind you to post new favorites (stuff that haven't been mentioned yet) or recommendations.

@Dyzphagia
Nice list you got there.

Re: #! Anime List

@sunfizz, have you ever seen Card Captor Sakura? If so, is it any good?

Rin: I won’t say ‘See you tomorrow’ because that would be like predicting the future, and I’m pretty sure I can’t do that.

Re: #! Anime List

Seriously, how much anime have you people watched?! I think Sunfizz alone has seen more hours of anime than all the years in my lifespan combined!! O_O

Point & Squirt

Re: #! Anime List

@sunfizz Well, might probably start getting into Bakugan, Lucky Star, Tenchi Muyo, Death Note (the anime, not the manga, due to already being somewhat into the manga), Samurai Champloo, DBZ, DBGT, and Hamtaro.

Re: #! Anime List

Oh wow, there's three series I forgot. Definitely loved Samurai Champloo. Seen Death Note, just like the manga, Mello was the only decent character after, well you know. Loved Tenchi Muyo. I found another Evangelion wallpaper for my desktop today. Everyday is a good day when you have Rei.

Rin: I won’t say ‘See you tomorrow’ because that would be like predicting the future, and I’m pretty sure I can’t do that.

Re: #! Anime List

Well, it's safe to say Lucky Star is officially another one of my faves.

Re: #! Anime List

That's quite a order....If you're looking for action packed fantasy/sci-fi, I have no suggestions.  I would recommend Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, or Black Lagoon if you haven't watched them yet.

For stuff similar to Beserk and Claymore tastes, I recommend Gungrave

I recommend Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom for those who like Yakuza, tragedy, assassins, and guns.

Re: #! Anime List

@Dyzphagia
Yes, Card Captor Sakura is good.  It is a good show for both children and families.  Surprisingly, I actually liked the show after watching a few eps of it.  Goes well for a day where I'm looking for something easy to watch without much thinking.

@gutterslob
My primary source of entertainment is anime.  I don't watch regular tv shows in America unless somebody recommends it to me.
