Yup, I've been switching between WMs like that for a while, though usually only between 2 or 3. It's currently ScrotWM, EvilWM and CWM for me. I also get where you're coming from about being hooked to very spartan WMs. There's something very "pure" about using a WM that doesn't do anything but manage windows. smile

Gnome 2
Xfce
LXDE
E17

I currently have #! Openbox installed on my primary laptop and Blackbuntu with Gnome on my old Alienware laptop. The latter is soon to be replaced with Arch. I'll use it to experiment a bit with AwesomeWM, ScrotWM, EvilWM, and Fluxbox, when I get the time.

Just did a Openbox > Unity > Openbox tour. I find Unity to be an improvement over Gnome 2.x but I missed my Openbox!
