@ rizzeh - conkyForecast - template - one call in conky every 30 minutes and its very low on CPU cycles, great for laptops.

@ gutterslob - do you actually use your computer like that all the time? Or is that just for screenshots? I think Warlock was really trying to imitate you. 
@ jinnstar - nice nice nice! Can you share that in the "My Conky" thread? Love the wallpaper too!

Sector, do a Google image search for katana wallpaper and you'll find it in a bunch of different resolutions, most of them appear after Page 8. BTW, do a search for just katana for a hysterical picture of Stallman sniffing one. Someone take that thing to his hair:^)

The font in Scrotwm bar is Clean. I'm just about to searching for some font that can be used in the bar, and end up using xfontsel to search some available font for it.

I've just remembered about it now, and he has his own power generator just in case if there is some power outage that can give a lot of harm to his computers in his holy ground.

It is a different font. I'm using Montecarlo PCF font in the terminal.

I know stallman uses a katana for something, but I'm sure it's not for sticking up his nose.
But to be honest I'm on stallman's side, and would rather have torvalds hair get cut.

I looked at conkyForecast last night, looks promising, thank you for the tip. Registration on weather.com site is a little off putting but i'll bite the bullet and register - probably worth it
I've set up Facebook rss feed in conky, Gmail is next thing to do.
Any more ideas on other things that worth putting in conky for normal people, not geeks?

I am just getting started with #! but here is my desktop so far. Pretty minimal but thats how I like it.

The big green bar in the corner shows my battery percentage, the rings are my various partitions and the big one at the top is a clock. Apologies but I cant remember where I aquired all the code from but it was a variety of sources, mostly done in lua.
