I really envy you people. I have two screens and they are always so full of windows that I couldn't see conky if I closed half of them.

Use multiple viewports/desktops? Though I must admit I don't always see my conky either

Same here. That's why I just pipe to my statusbar or dzen2 these days. Gotta keep an eye on em thermals in these tropics. I do miss having a fancy (by my standards) big-ass font conky sometimes, tbh.

That's why I usually stick with a single-line conky across the top of the screen.

Just to inform anyone who helped me with Libreoffice/PDF/.docx issues: it turns out my brother's MS Office can open .odt files correctly and then save them as .docx. No conversion needed, at all
