I was hoping to create a gtk3 theme, but i even can't get gtk3 to work.
Editing ~/gtk-3.0/settings.ini or ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini doesn't change anything.

Edit: found a solution (on crunchbang forum): just copy the whole gtk-3.0 theme into ~/.config/gtk-3.0/ 
and it'll work

I spend some time creating a shiki-statler theme for gtk-3.0. It's based on Adwaita. It's ready for testing here:

I'm sure i missed some things, so some red and blue might show somewhere. I didn't have any gtk3 program with sliders, so i couldn't test these.

Looking good Tuna! Really good job! The only point of critique that I have are the scrollbars, they are a bit too big for my taste. EDIT: And perhaps slim the tabs down a bit tongue

Is there gonna be a dark version too? big_smile

Smaller scrollbar and some other small changes.

I don't have a clue about the tabs. I didn't see any gtk/Adwaita themes with smaller tabs yet. So i don't know if it's possible. There's another engine (Unico), but i couldn't get it to run because of dependency problems.

I'll do a shiki-statler-dark version this evening.

Ah yes, it could require the Unico engine since the themes I use, use that. Looking forward to the dark version!

IIRC, gtk3-engines-unico is in the Sid repos.

Yes, but i get conflicting dependencies with seahorse and gnome-keyrings when i try to install...

Edit: I tried again without success. Screwed up my system completely. Now doing fresh install of crunchbang... sad     
So the dark theme will have to wait for a while...

Gnome-tweak-tool? Don't have that tool here...
Did you move it to the right place? It extracts to /shiki-statler-dark/gtk-3.0/...
Should be the same as the other one.

I'll try the unico engine, than decide what's best, Adwaita or Unico.   
Do you know any gtk3 application with sliders?

I edited the gtk3 Zukwito theme to match the Statler gtk2 theme. I just made some minor changes to the original Zukwito theme.
