I did a very short review about crunchbang on my blog I basically just said how great crunchbang is lol let me know if I got anything wrong.

nice. rather clean, crisp and concise, befitting of crunchbang. 
though u might wanna refer to xfce as a desktop environment rather than a window manager.
as blurred as the line gets between the two sometimes, i think xfce clearly qualifies as a "desktop environment", n not just it's/a window manager, thanks to it's elaborate extras outside traditional "window manager" territory. i can see the flow it creates in your blog as is, but the nitpicker in my noggin blurts out "ack!" at me. ;D

^ xeNULL isn't exactly on sabbatical; he and his girlfriend are just moving in together, and he expects to have limited internet access for a short time. He should be back soon.
Also, the thread really isn't that stale - it's only 3 months old.
