here's a plain black openbox/gtk2 theme i made and decided to share if anyone is interested
the gtk2 theme is derived from the jBlack theme

well i was aiming for a minimalist yet usable theme
the best i found was carbon but that made the inactive window title bar white which was quite a distraction so initially i modified carbon to have the the inactive window black as well but then i had to deal with the glassy look which i didn't like, all i wanted was the plain minimalistic look
when i didn't find it i decided to make it myself
i wanted to make a matching gtk theme as well but i can't find any good documentation on that
