Yeah, I just came back from Israel after living there for two years.  Youtube was mostly ok, but a lot of premium content was unavailable (hulu, veoh, pandora, netflicks...).  I don't think it was to government there though, I think it was the companies blocking their own content because of differences in intellectual property law, or maybe in protest.  I don't know.  Censorship is LAME.

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

@Unia: Nice work with GS and Radiance. Don't know about those icons though. They looked sharper when they were just a concept. You should take a look at the Candy iconset.

@ElderV.LaCoste: Nice wp.

I like it, I like it a lot!!

I'm new in town, so don't know if it's appropriate or not-done, but would you mind sharing the setup? smile

Cheers!

Hm... thanks, I'll look into those. I've thought about changing the Nautilus background so they look sharper, but haven't come to that yet.

@Koleo, thanks for linking that conky, sweet.

@bacon, aaron, ivan,  thanks! I love the spider desk, machinebacon! Hearing you regarding inspiration, aaron ;~)

@elder, great! Wall, please.

Gnome on testing looks and runs fine out of the box, uses about 178M of my gig of ram out of boot. A weird blend of elegant and clunky... look at the size of that close window button!

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

A few minor tweaks + a Conky RSS crawl across the top.  Still sticking with Murrine-Unity OB and GTK themes, but I've switched to Faenza icons.  I'm pretty happy with anything, but I need to work on the consistency of the sizes of my tray icons.  I also might want to stick a transparent light grey background behind the RSS crawl that matches my Tint2.

Just reduce the size of the titlebar font and it will shrink.
