Topic: network monitors

I like wireshark and already have it my new #! box. I'm looking the debian based equivalent for aircrack or aircrack-ng, if one ya'll know what I'm talking about from the Ubuntu repos. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Loving #! so far!

I have been using this on my #!, no conflict so far.

I suggest you should consider installing BackTrack5R1 on a 16 GB USB instead (Not as liveCD, but actually install it on the 16GB and make it bootable). That is what I do at the end. I used to compile these type of apps in #! from source. But it is such a pain to keep all these tools up to date.

Re: network monitors

Yeah, just download it from that link I gave you, then use right click and use gdebi to install it. So you don't need to add their repository.

Also you might want to take a look at this book and this 40+ hour training video is free, You can also watch it one by one from this page
