Topic: Java cannot get 100% focused window with TWM and openbox.
I'm not sure if this is an unstable issue, but I'm running sid (due to needing updated libs).
I want to play minecraft, but have been having trouble with openbox (or any other wm). The mouse is confirmed to grab, but it doesn't grab the keyboard, so the only way to quit is with alt+f4, furthermore, fullscreen is impossible, I can't type, and can't move because I'd need wasd.
Openbox seems to be the issue as it's been mentioned as an issue before on the archlinux forums and that minecraft is fully functional with no WM running (the problem with this is that once minecraft closes, the terminal will not refocus and the only way to close the session is to manually power down.
TWM seemed to work on the arch forums, but I see the same issue when using TWM. I think this may be an unstable issue as minecraft seems to work on my netbook running crunchbang stable (however is very laggy due to it being a netbook).
Not sure why a window manager would be causing it, but it seems to be the cause. I'd really appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Dragos
