Topic: Stable connection possible? wifi 'n' usb dongle (d-link dwa-160 a1)
I'm just looking for feedback regarding the stability of a wireless signal using 802.11n usb adapters. My dwa-160 tends to drop the signal after a while and won't reconnect. It lasted two hours yesterday before dropping out. I'm not looking for instructions on how to get it working (I'll post a new thread for that later). I'm just curious to see if these devices can be made to work without problems in linux.
I'm asking specifically about 'n' usb adapters because of a comment:
Note: Due to deviations in the standard(s) not all 802.11N routers and adapters are compatible. Some do not work or do not work as expected. 802.11N PCI, PCIe, and 802.11G USB cards are more stable in this regard and have a higher degree of compatibility with different devices on the market.
That quote I found on this page:

sb-adapter
I found that website from the link (Penguin 802.11n) in the first paragraph of this page:

What are your experiences with usb n adapters?
