All we ever were, just zeroes and ones.

Re: Just how confident are you around a terminal?

I'm pretty confident around the terminal. But I'm not stupid.

Obviously a joke -- how good a joke is debatable.

Re: Just how confident are you around a terminal?

^Agreed. I do almost all my activity via terminal, but suicide linux is not my cup of tea.  The first thing I would do is probably find a way to disable the auto "rm -rf" for incorrect commands.

Re: Just how confident are you around a terminal?

ha! suicide linux sounds like a fun idea to me. not that i'd ever use it because i'm sure i'd typo something in the first hour and get killed smile

so let's debate how good a joke this really is. because i like it smile

Re: Just how confident are you around a terminal?

alias rm="echo nooooooooooooooooo"

EDIT: Whoa is this stupid. All this thing does is change the /etc/bash.bashrc. Wrapping that in a .deb file is an insult to everybody who might be able to complete the challenge.

EDIT2: And that bashrc has typos, old commented out crap and a function declared with function. I am positive that this person does not use it's own config for longer than an hour.

EDIT3: This thing, by the way, will even trigger, when a bash script tries to run something not available.

Re: Just how confident are you around a terminal?

^ wow, nice analysis. but do you think the idea behind it is in any way funny or amusing or whatnot?
