I've tried to run plugins for Claws Mail 3.6.1 (default in 9.04.1). But, .. plugins are for 3.7.0 > mostly.. .
So, I upgraded Claws Mail (according to Anonymous PPA link) and then GTKHtml2 work perfect.

Thanks IgorP, following your post I have upgraded Claws the same way and installed GTKHtml2. Much better than Dillo.

I had the same problem. I installed Dillo HTML viewer instead, which works fine.

Hi all, even if this post is somehow dated, I'll give a reply regarding HTML plugins.
The error you got was probably due to bad packaging from crunchbang, so an update would surely solve the issue.
The best solution though is using the Fancy plugin, which uses the webkit library, so it's nicer and faster than the Gtkhtml2 one. Since it can be almost defined
stable, it will be probably used as the default plugin in the future releases.
