Topic: Hello everyone.

I'm new.

Read up on #! over the holidays and it looks like a good fit for my Gateway LT2104u netbook (similar to the Aspire 532h, I think).  I like the netbook a lot but the Win7 Starter it came with runs slowly when I have a more than a couple apps or windows open.  Upgrading to Win7 home will likely be worse so it's time to try Linux.

My first task is to read up on loading and running.  I especially like that #! will run from a CD or flash drive.  Will check back if (when) I have problems.

Happy New Year!

Oh, all the cool guys got here first.  A big welcome from the peanut gallery, nonetheless.  wink

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
