Topic: preferences for volumeicon

Does the point release come with a new version of VolumeIcon?  I see all kinds of nifty little tweaks in the preferences page that I don't remember from the February release, like a drop-down menu to pick which fader is adjusted by rolling the mouse wheel over the systray icon, a spinner for how much to increment/decrement for each click of the mouse wheel, a selection of icon sets...and tickboxes to let volumeicon trap XF86Audio* keys!

Are these features - especially the hotkey trapping - new, or were we all just so accustomed to having to use rc.xml to trap these that nobody else noticed them until now?
