Topic: HI all...

Hi guys,

Nice forum :-)

Stopped by to introduce myself quickly before I go and post a thread begging for help with getting my wireless working!

I'm Marc, I live in Warwickshire, UK.  I'm 33, and have been a microsoft-avoider for several years now.  I've been using Xubuntu on my laptop and desktops for at least a couple of years, and whilst I don't consider myself particularly n00bish anymore, I still have a lot to learn, and have come to #! to delve a bit deeper.

My first learning curve will be getting the wireless working, so if you can help look for my next thread - lol.

I'm also Forthy on KustomPCs and Hardforum, so some of you may know me.  Also ForthyUK in a few places (like twitter if you want to follow my mundane ramblings!) where some oik had got in first and stolen my nic!

Anyway, hopefully I'll get this WiFi issue resolved and get stick in here.

Hi, Forthy.  I saw you in another thread setting up a beer and thought I read your name as Frothy.  Don't know if it's age or bad eyeglasses that did that...  roll

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
