Topic: Hello, everybody
Hi folks,
My name is Dan and I'm a new convert to the #!. I've been using an Ubuntu 10.04/Windows dual boot machine for the last two years or so and was running out of room on my Ubuntu partition (due to poor initial planning) when I realized I hadn't booted into Windows in months and months (due mostly to streaming devices for Netflix) so I figured instead of trying to mess around with changing partition size, I'd just do a clean install and went with #!. Almost did vanilla Debian, but the logo is way less sexy. Anyways, glad I did, I've been having a blast all day fiddling with conky and tint2 and with the exception of a little twiddling with my touchpad settings have had no real snags (knock on wood). I'm sort of a noobie but between this and a pretty old box I'm fiddling with an Arch install on, I'm hoping to put some hair on my neck. I just moved near State College, PA from Scranton, PA and am right now out of things to say about myself in an introduction.
