Topic: Theme Question

So I like this theme

but it is for pekwm and not openbox, which i would like to keep, can I make it work in openbox or something?

Re: Theme Question

is this the wrong place for this?

Re: Theme Question

I think this is the right place for the question, though I don't have an answer for you.

It's a great theme and I'd like to know, too, if it can be used in Openbox.

Re: Theme Question

some of gutterslobs work looks similar   . . . he has some threads on here with downloads for his work

http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … t-gallery/

. . . the cleanliness and simplicity of his ob themes is wot initially brought me to #!

. . . and if none of those ob themes suit they could be modified easily enuff to look exactly like the one u posted

Re: Theme Question

gurtid -- Wow! Those are great. I'm going to have to give a couple of those a shot.

Re: Theme Question

The question is, do those pekwm themes come with a GTK theme?  If they do, making an Openbox theme to match (or at least come really close) should be rather academic...at least to gutterslob.  The guy's a frickin' theme savant.

Re: Theme Question

They do come with a GTK theme.

Re: Theme Question

that PEKWM theme looks good !
calm, dark & simple yet easy on the eyes.
looking forward to see an adaption for OPENBOX.
so far i'm still hooked on the default ONYX theme.

Re: Theme Question

Taking another look at the page for that theme...if you're looking for the subtle radiused corners, you won't be able to get that in Openbox.  Square-cornered windows only, unless something's changed recently.  The buttons in the titlebar would be simply a matter of copying the .png files and assigning them to their respective buttons; the rest of it is just a matter of setting the color codes.

Something like this? smile

Edit: I liked this theme, until I noticed the menu bar text is invisible...

Re: Theme Question

oh i didn't notice the rounded corners  . . . u could always just install pekwm  it's easy to do and fun to play with

and hopefully works a bit better than it did when i tried it - they been developing it a bit lately
