Topic: Live streaming for SCALE 10X

Hi all --

Shameless self-promotion (sorry): Thanks to a company in the Silicon Valley called Ooyala, the sessions for SCALE 10X are being streamed live (they'll probably live someplace to look at later, but I don't know where that will be at the moment).

I will be speaking at 3 p.m, PST tomorrow (that's 2300 UTC) in Los Angeles A on a topic called "On Beyond Zenwalk," basically about distros that deserve more attention. You can be sure that CrunchBang will be a significant part of this presentation.

I have this feeling that lcafiero is going to be completely opposite of what we're expecting. Like he's going to be this 9ft tall, 300 pound body builder. His voice rocks the stage, etc, etc.

Dyzphagia -- Actually I'm only eight-foot-two . . . but anyway. Thanks for tuning in, if you did, and I hope I did #! proud.

Also, I just came from the #! Birds of a Feather meeting from 7-8 and there were about 10 people there, half of them from the presentation. I made some disks and usb drives to give out and I let folks use my second laptop (running #! of course) while making usb sticks with my primary laptop.

One woman had a Lenovo netbook which ran the live usb quite well and she was impressed with it. So converts may be on the way :-)
