Topic: Greetings CB'ers

I, like others here I have read, am a relative noob having only taken the plunge into Linux last April.  After wiping the disk of older laptop and loading Linux as a fresh install, Crunchbang was the first distro to load completely and run.  However, being brand new, I did not know how to proceed with the Statler OB set up and elected to keep trying other distros.  After getting a feel for the OS and many hours of podcasts, forums and LUG meetings I came back to Crunchbang for a second look and REALLY liked the simplicity and control.

I have just upgraded to the latest release and am working through the set up to get back the work I lost by not keeping copies of fstab, etc.  Live and learn.  I am working on a script to avoid this in future.

Have already gotten some fine help from the folks here and look forward to learning all I can.

Thanks to all in advance!
