Topic: Hello!

Hello everyone,

I'm not entirely new to crunchbang, ive been using the distro off and on for almost what I would say would be a year, but just recently I decided to ditch windows entirely (used to dual boot) and install only crunchbang on my main system! It feels so.... free. This is one of the best distros I have used so far, and I think I will enjoy my stay with this community smile

Have a nice day,

Erest

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

Welcome to #! smile

I always keep a sliver of a Windows partition so I can help my Dad when he has problems with his machine. I boot into it once every two months to install Windows Updates and upgrade the virus definitions, and even running perfectly, it just feels clunky. Removing it all and reclaiming the disk space would be nice...

Re: Hello!

Hi and welcome all,

I use to dual boot with Windows to, but decided to remove it as it took up alsmost half of my hard drive with just the base install.  My PC has never been so lean as it is now with #!.
