Topic: Got something to say?

Hey, all --

As some of you already know, I have a blog called "Larry the CrunchBang Guy," which ideally runs two to three times a week and is on the planet as well.

From time to time, I like to step off the soapbox and turn over the megaphone to someone else. VastOne, who many of you already know, took me up on this and he wrote a post here:

http://larrythecrunchbangguy.wordpress. … dventures/

While I will keep blogging away, I wanted everyone to know that if you feel you have something pressing to say and you don't have your own blog to say it with, I'd be glad to give you a "guest blog item" on Larry the CrunchBang Guy." If the spirit moves you, drop me an e-mail at lcafiero-at-lavabit-dot-com and let's talk.

Re: Got something to say?

Larry, just want to mention that's a real fine offer you've just made the community.  wink

Re: Got something to say?

larry, just wanna second what dubois said there. (and that i hate the fact that i cannot find something to say in my own words which equals his words)

Re: Got something to say?

Let's do it and don't screw it.

Re: Got something to say?

I appreciated the offer and platform that Larry provided.  It was fun to do and Larry's guidance was spectacular.  Like any great teacher, Larry never offered anything but encouragement, for that I am grateful.

Re: Got something to say?

Great idea Larry. So, in the future, if I have something worthy to say, I will just contact you. smile

Re: Got something to say?

ivanovnegro -- Correct. Unless you already have your own blog. If you don't, I'm happy to turn over the microphone to you. smile

Re: Got something to say?

Well, I didn't leave a comment on your blog Larry, but VastOne's "blog spot" did make it to my signature.  Mighty nice of you to offer the microphone to others as well.

I'm happy to have you as part of our little community.

Re: Got something to say?

^ Thanks Sector11..

Re: Got something to say?

Very generous of you Icafiero, very #!inezz attitude, and great blog by the way. Wish  I had something smart to say big_smile

#!, all else is but a shadow!

Re: Got something to say?

I think that's a generous offer. Now if only I had something intelligent to say..

Re: Got something to say?

Sector 11 -- Thanks for the link, and thanks for the welcome. I am glad to be here and I'm looking forward to pitching in where I can to help CrunchBang best.

vicshrike / fortyseven -- I never said the blog item had to be "smart" or "intelligent" smile But it does have to help CrunchBang move forward, whether it's a discussion of an internal issue or an idea you have that might make CrunchBang a better distro. Or something you find humorous, sorry "humourous."

Re: Got something to say?

@Icafiero;Thanks, kind of you, I did try to get a blog going, but deleted it. I am lousy to follow through with a chain of thoughts, my brain works more like a brain to a goldfish, a #!ing one though. So after three
sentences I`ve said everything I have to say. No, better leave the blogging to you smart guys and post some trivia here instead. smile

It's more of a plea than an offer smile So far the lineup for the show is me, possibly another #! forum veteran who I will let reveal himself if he likes, and since you were nearby to the tune of, what, 40 miles or so from Bellingham, I thought you could join us. There's also going to be a CrunchBang Birds of a Feather meetup and, if they accept it, an "Intro to CrunchBang" talk by yours truly. Now that alone should be worth walking up from Seattle for big_smile
