Topic: KVM Console Fonts

I've been moving between the proprietary and open drivers for my NVidia card, as well as taking it out and using the on-board Intel graphics. I've started several times in recovery mode to do this and have seen various KVM console fonts. I've now returned to one of my previous setups, but the console font is different now. It's a small font, but is bolder and blocky, and I don't think I've seen it before. How do I set it to use a much finer, more "spidery" small font which looks better?

Re: KVM Console Fonts

Starting in a recovery console now with open NVidia drivers gives me a large font. I thought the open drivers provided a nice small font for non-X interfaces. I get a nice small font if I C-A-F2 from within X. I think the "spidery" fine font I was remembering is from a different machine with different hardware...

Re: KVM Console Fonts

Font size depends (also) on chosen resolution.

If you poke the bear it is going to come after you.

Ooooh, ok. I think I was on my 1920x1080 before (retired now because of backlight buzzing) and now I'm on 1680x1050. But still, the fonts are "too" large smile

/etc/default/console-setup
