Re: CrunchPup?

Remastersys can literally create a backup install disc for your installation or, even better, a live cd for you. It runs on Debian and Ubuntu systems, and turns an installed system back into a Live CD, complete with all the apps on your install.

Re: CrunchPup?

^ I've never used Clonezilla but it looks like a tool to create images for single backuup or mass distribution on a specific hardware configuration. One of remastersys' strengths is the ability to make a live cd from a customised system that can then be used as just that or as a medium to install the customised system onto any machine. Crunchbang is created with remastersys.

Re: CrunchPup?

Ive got a stack of different puppies and puplets,,,Another cool thing that can be done with puppy is installing one system over the other.
I installed puppy AAO''acer aspire one'' onto my netbook,,Then i installed a puplet over the top of it to get the software and style i wanted and it worked awesome.

The one thing i could never get puppy to do was make my sprint mobile broadband card work,,,
I find them to be fun systems,,,And i still play around with them from time to time.
